I mean, if you are able to read more than 1 tweet at a time, you'd see his point is about how the Connolly building has been left without proper supports and has been left to deteriorate. My guess is that by the time the Connolly starts the facade won't be able to be maintained. There is a similar fear with other heritage buildings where developers have said they will respect and protect heritage structures as a compromise, but pull the rug from under the community.

Cities are not a single person, single developer or even a single councillor. They are a collection of people and needs. Developers telling a community one thing while doing another betrays that trust in a big way because these developments are a large shift and change compared to the past, often times for the better, but a massive change nonetheless.
