I keep telling people that there's a lot more moderate Chuy and Lightfoot voters who would support Vallas over Johnson than they possibly realize. Wilson voters probably sway big time to Vallas, but not all. I think there's a lot of very left leaning Johnson supporters, white and on the north side, who assume that a lot of voters still vote along racial lines. And this is increasingly false and out of touch with the current times IMO. Not even sure either candidate really does a good job of addressing the needs and struggles of some communities.
