Totally agree. I'm certain that a professional landscape architect has been brought on that will select trees that are suitable for the area, provide the necessary shade and looks and will be successful.

I find Cameron Kroetsch is very anti-development. He's getting distracted by the removal of a handful of trees that don't even provide the urban canopy that he's looking for, while at the same time potentially holding up a development that this city desperately needs. We need the tax revenue that these buildings will provide. We do not need these trees - for which will be replaced anyway.
