Real question is what the King St frontage will look like, are they keeping the brutalism??
That's what we're all holding our breath to see.. cuz if so I feel like they will have failed in the one spot that mattered the most. I FEEL though, because of the similar style of the pediment all around that they may just continue this pattern with different finishes all around the podium - laziness in design may prevail - I hope anyways. The renders for this building were not exactly.. detailed enough.

Or maybe they heard about me bitching about it enough and changed it hahaha

"HE NEEDS CORNICES!"

I do kinda wish that the lintels were one solid piece across - I feel the parts in the middle may erode away over time - I am not sure how well this podium will keep over the years. Still, it's the best traditional styled podium I have probably ever seen in the city.. in fact.. come to think of it.. it may be the ONLY traditional styled skyscraper podium I have ever seen built in the city... well.. newly built.. william thomas doesn't count..
