With those temporary diesel tanks installed on the Beatty Street parking lot, the demolition and clearance of the old tanks on the lower level behind the building is underway. They were buried in sand, and there's a quite noticeable hydrocarbon smell to the work. It looks like the tanks are being chopped up on site for recycling.
