Yup! I feel like there were a few highway plans that would have used the now Trillium Line for the "Champagne Expressway".
All that to say, I'm glad the NCC dragged its feet for over a half century before getting serious about LeBreton. I know some of you aren't particularly happy with the amount of parkland, but at least it's not a super highway interchange or a bunch of suburban townhomes.
