I assume those won't get rusty, but there'll be awhole lot of door knobs needing a repair by the looks of that picture in say, ten years. I find juliette balconies hilarious to me, they just look so silly. But so do those faux balconies above the entrance to some McMansions. Especially with a window above them. I used to wonder if some homeowners would just break their window to use their front "balcony".
EDIT: Ah yes, those front entrances are called porticos.
