New Plans:
Quote:
The village’s Planning and Zoning Board will consider the application for the 2.31-acre site at 1819 to 1855 79th St. on Dec. 7. The current hotel and restaurant would be replaced, but Montreal-based Jesta Group, which owns the site through North Bay Village Holdings LLC, would like to keep Shucker’s on the property in the new building, said Anthony O’Brien, senior managing director at the company.
Under the new plans, the project would rise 30 stories with 345 apartments, 245 hotel rooms, 7,500 square feet of meeting space, 19,679 square feet of restaurants and 577 parking spaces, including some electric vehicle chargers. That would include 18 workforce housing units.
