Some have argued what is in some cases being too excessive, and I think does hold some merit, is how certain projects have stalled in the past because they went just a few feet over the CVC permitted height, which is what happened with Gables Park Plaza from my recollection. That's an example of someone not staying within the legal parameters and thereby disqualifying themselves. It's their fault, not the CVCs'. I think the CVCs are great in many ways. One way that's not talked about much is that all the apartments and offices in buildings with a wall along a CVC will never have their views blocked by a building right next door.
Another thing is that it will make for some cool drone shots (which I'm going to request).
