This feels like Marine/Cambie all over again. The original design with the single tower had a more interesting terraced massing, until neighbourhood opposition to its visual impact and repeated revisions wore it down to a generic twin-tower form... only for the entire struggle to be made moot, now surrounded by a skyline of equally-tall but far-less interesting towers
