People living in the Main West corridor are going to have to get used to change though. We've seen other proposals that dwarf the existing low-rise streetscape and homes; there will be many more because of the LRT.
Yep, all of Main St West for 2km on either side of Mac's campus should be zoned to allow 15-25 storey residential towers with LRT and the student-exacerbated housing crisis in mind. It's embarrassing how much surface level parking there is around that LRT stop and how poorly student housing around Mac's campus is planned.
