They did have express bus service pre-covid but it was cut and hasn't been restored, from what I remember.

The Plains Rd bus service is generally surprisingly excellent and high frequency for a 905 suburban bus service. It's likely the busiest and most frequent service in all of Halton Region. I agree BRT would be nice, but Plains Rd also isn't particularly congested on the regular from my experience. It's an even better service now considering transfers between 905 bus agencies is free.
