While I certainly don't hate it, and it's exciting to have a real "supertall", it's still an underwhelming design for me.
We still have the same overused design elements of this 'era':
- angled exposed support beams
- staggered windows/lines, although the brick pattern is easier on the eyes
The upper part of the building has an effect of making the tower look visually smaller, since the brick pattern in that section appears to be 2 floors each. Not sure why you would bother building a 1000-footer and aim for tallest in the state if you're going to make it look shorter than it actually is. And that crown is just... well I'm not even sure how to describe that. Just odd.
