Council doesn't care nor does the city. Admin actually recommended approval of the two lots on Scarth even though it went against the OCP. At the meeting, councilors talked about women needing that parking lot to feel safe walking to their vehicle after work, yet in the same convo talking about those same women going to Farmers Market or to get a coffee downtown. Can't have it both ways. Council wants to spend our federal transit money on a swimming pool instead of actually investing in transit which would align with the so-called renewable city/sustainability plan. We are a city for vehicles, not for people.
