I don't like that this means we likely won't see any new office towers in the near future, but it is what it is. And 50% of the workforce in the office at any given time doesn't necessarily mean 50% less office space. A lot of companies are rethinking how to use office space in general. If your employees only come in half the time, what are they doing when they come in? How can you reorient your office to best suit what it's now used for? Eventually a new equilibrium will be reached. I don't think this is the death knell for office towers that some seem to think it is.

Agree with hybrid, flexibility is important.
I don't think office towers are dead either, just in flux, and my prediction is that Comcast will add a third tower eventually, (it's all hearsay anyway). I just think their plans changed due to lack of need at the moment.
To add, their pre-Covid second tower already embraced a flexible spacious layout (smart on their part).
