That was quite the engineering undertaking (it was done by others at the firm I work for). Large portions of the new roof are designed with excess capacity solely because of that crane. You can see the track it can take in 3 directions so that large steel trusses for the new space can be lifted into place. Tower cranes don't have the capacity to support those heavy lifts like a crawler does.
