^ lol you're right... I do know how lucky we are (unlike the large contingent of local UT forum whiners who hate everything ;-).
But it was so distasteful to post that Pemberton 'Social' abomination... I think I have settle my upset stomach by recapping some of
my future favs
that are in the pipeline (proposed/approved).
I'd be happy if half of these 'scrapers eventually emerge unscathed and built close to their render promise:
My picks to join the 200 metre to 300 metre+ club

310 Front Street West
- 69 storeys/235.5 metres[/B]
UT
11 Bay Street
- 54 storey/269.45 metre office tower (likely has best the shot of all office tower proposals - rumoured to have a marquee tenant interested)
UT
Union Park
- 58 storey/303.26 metre tall office tower plus 2nd office tower, 2 residential towers and apark decking over the rail corridor. Likely a long wait for this one but hey it's my list.
UT
Forma

UT
212 King Street West
- 80-storey/311.8 metre mixed-use building (designed by SHoP Architects)
UT
2180 Yonge
- 70 storeys/253.5 m (tallest of 5 mixed-use towers proposed).
UT
1200 Bay Street
- 87 storey/324 metres - likely a long shot but this ultra skinny design from Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron would be fun to watch rise.

Edited to add Santiago Calatrava's son Gabriel's (first ?) skyscraper:
30 Scollard | 230.89m | 61s | Constantine Enterprises | CA
