A flood control tunnel was built to divert flood waters along Waller Creek, so flooding should not be an issue in this area.

With that said, this wall is not the final changes coming to the creek. There are some pretty grand plans for Waller Creek.

Thanks for the correction! The tunnel project will help significantly; though the "angle of repose" for this bank is less steep. I hope these grand plans address this issue.
