COPE’s nomination meeting takes place April 10.
According to a COPE news release, the following candidates are seeking nomination:
City council:
• Breen Ouellette, a Métis man, activist and lawyer.
•Jean Swanson, (incumbent,) an anti-poverty and social justice activist elected to council in 2018.
• Nancy Trigueros, a civil rights activist and former Canadian immigration consultant representing refugees.
