Extell suggested that it will be a condo/hotel if it can't land an office tenant -- not a spec office tower that's half the size of the current proposal.

On another matter, Extell's presentations showed the office and residential versions sitting right next to the old building on the corner. It doesn't need that structure.

The article is a reference to the proposed and as of right versions. It could have been explained better for the general public, but we already know enough about what’s going on to catch it.












Extell did give us a glimpse of a tower with the full 5th Avenue frontage. Doesn’t look like it will happen, unless something changes before the approval process, which starts soon, is completed.
