Some nice, unexpected news - Effort Trust is looking to increase the scale of this proposal "in response to Councils direction to intensify within the existing Urban Boundary."
No new renders or plans, just a letter on the agenda from
yesterday's Planning Committee meeting asking for permission to submit a Minor Variance application, which council must okay otherwise they're prohibited from seeking a variance within two years of a ZBLA under provincial legislation.
3 and 10 storeys --> 3 and 14 storeys
73 apartment units and 6 townhome units --> 99 apartment units and 6 townhome units
No change in the number of parking stalls, which means that the additional units would lower the ratio from 0.65 per unit to 0.48 per unit.
