Agreed, however, the more qualified, dare I say, "intelligent people" like a F500 CEO have followed the money into the private sector, whereas gov't positions will get the leftovers, if even that...
There's no denying that gov't is much less effective and wasteful at literally everything they try and put their fingers in... The accountability levers just don't exist and are rarely based on merit.
