Regardless if you like this tower or not, Hamilton is not limited on sites available for large scale intensification. The height limit is hardly restricting potential density. I'm neither for or against the height limit. 30 storeys is not short in any regards even in Toronto. The big concern is providing parking. That will likely be in a combination of above and below parking. The above grade parking can be concealed behind residential or commercial. But that requires an larger footprint. Big podiums at their very best make a bland landscape.
