Do cops usually escort funeral processions pro-bono? We saw one on the way home today with three motorcycle cops. If they have time/resources to do that...
Crime is up everywhere. I was compiling a list of the 2020 murders for Texas cities, and all of them had increases last year. Some had their highest numbers in 30 years. Midland also reported being short 35 officers. Austin catches a lot of flack, but every city in Texas is going through the same problems. And homelessness. I follow the news of every city in the state, and all the big cities have a homeless problem and none have solved it.
