Several eyewitnesses believe that the collision was intentional. Truck was seen revving and driving up on the sidewalk in the absence of other cars in the vicinity. A woman was hurled 60 feet by the impact. Drove away at 100mph (as stated on reddit) and almost impacted other cars at Royal York Dr. and Hyde Park Rd. Driver of a black pickup truck (surprise, surprise) apprehended at Cherryhill Village mall. Apparently the guy was wearing a military-style helmet.
I live right nearby and I was at that intersection twice in the hour before this happened (jogging at 745pm, and on my way to the bank, driving, at 835pm...literally minutes before the collision took place).
I have a terrible suspicion that this will turn out to be another crazy right wing racist attack.
