Haha. There was just a debate about this in the Highrise thread. Like many Philly neighborhoods, the boundaries are up for debate.
I also don't call this area Northern Liberties, as I believe NoLibs has Spring Garden as it's southern border.
Others felt like Callowhill or "the Loft District" ends at 8th Street.
I proposed calling this area SoNo (for Southern Northern Liberties) and making a brand new neighborhood out of it entirely, since this area if/when it builds up, will be all new, dense, mostly highrise and midrise development and will have an entirely different feel than NoLibs and Callowhill.
