They can't build enough homes quickly enough to keep up with the demand - both urban and suburban alike. Supply chains are certainly affecting builds as well, among other things.

Do you mind sharing which northern suburb? We're looking (gingerly) too and the prices all the way up to Georgetown are mindboggling. And did you buy new or used?
