It would be interesting to see numbers on the growth for 2020 and into this year since Boise and Idaho are growing swiftly from covid transplants including millennials moving from the Bay Area, Portland and Seattle to Boise. We all know the Boise housing market is one of the hottest in the nation and will probably continue to be so for years to come.

COMPASS is estimating that Ada and Canyon Counties grew by nearly 24,000 people in 2020 which puts the two county total near 762,000 and does not include the other counties in the Boise Metro.

In 2019 the Boise CSA which stretches from Mountain Home to Ontario, Oregon was around 812,000. The big question is when will the CSA hit one million.
