ya, Kelowna's current tallest is 35 floors and the city is reaching higher, there's a 41 floor and a 46 floor planned buildings apparently.

That's crazy! I lived in KO in the 80s for a couple years, then spent all my summers out there in the 90s, seemed like it kept just sprawling and was never going to need to go that tall to densify. I have some relatives that own one of the biggest construction companies in the valley and my dad and bro built condos throughout the valley for most of the past 20 years, so much change but never thought I'd be seeing actual highrises going up there.
