And that's exactly why it should not be the beacon in the hamilton skyline, we need a handful of towers to be taller and at least one of them to be a new signature tower that will be "our postcard" tower we can be proud of going forward! And this signature tower need to be more than height and beauty, it needs to be mixed use and have a podium where the general public can interact with and a possible observation deck and restaurant up top.
Skyscrapers when done right can instill a sense of pride within the city. There is nothing "landmark" about Landmark Place.
