The US is pretty much the only major country on the planet that goes by feet for its metric of choice. The rest of the world uses meters. So it's 300 meters, which is 984 feet.
Both supertalls in Texas right now are in Downtown Houston. If you count the antennae then Downtown Houston has 3 because One Shell Plaza is also greater than 300 meters.
