It's amazing how much growth that has gone on in Austin over the last 10 years or so, but one thing that has languished is mass transit, from my understanding. Portland is often compared with Austin, and Portland may not be booming quite like Austin, but it's mass transit options are exceptional.

Light rail with a central subway component (a la Seattle or Boston)
