Point of interest...when I was a firefighter with Pflugerville, I fought quite a few car fires. With all of the cars parking in all of the parking podiums around Austin, its quite fortunate we haven't had any notable car fires from vehicles parked inside them...yet...

Isn't an existing fire suppression system in a parking garage be sufficient to take care of a vehicle fire? Obviously concrete isn't going to catch, but they do want to prevent it from spreading to other vehicles, utility lines, etc.
