That’s a great rumor to hear and I hope they follow through with that plan. It will have my support and I will do more than just write an email
The vast majority of people don’t know or care about the view cones but I feel that a few vocal voices are able to instill fear among enough people through hyperbole about losing the view of the mountains. The funny thing is once taller towers are built (Shanghai-La, Vancouver House, Vancouver’s Turn, etc...) they become icons for the skyline and many of those same people would have a hard time imagining Vancouver without them.
