There was a discussion started by Counclr Hickman to the idea that they should be enticed or forced to consider doing it downtown, roundly rejected by the other members. Can you imaging the effort needed to get a 10 storey building into the downtown?? Ironically just before that item was some poor guy trying to get approved to replace a window on his house and the hassle he's had with Council for a really small change, not even against Heritage standards, it seems.

LOL. Not unusual. Interesting KMK wants to go ahead up there, even with the oil companies pausing. In for the long game I guess?
