So I guess that means your answer is no?
My point is that many people seem to be forgetting that these cops are trained for crowd control based on tactics that have been developed over many decades, and also that come from the sharing of best practices and experiences between police forces all over the world.
Our keyboard warriors seem to think that the strategy has been drawn up on a napkin in a donut shop 10 minutes before.
I don't disagree that it has not been optimally rolled out in a lot of cities due to a number of factors, not the least of which is that the police themselves are the target, as opposed to political leaders at a meeting, or simply drunk sports fans whose celebration got out of hand.
So lots of cops are losing their cool. More than they usually would.
And BTW I do have some personal experience with this. A teeny tiny bit. (Not being sarcastic BTW. It's not that extensive in terms of experience. But I've been directly exposed to what goes on behind the line.)
