The existing Omni hotel was built in 2009 at 600 rooms. An expansion of 400 rooms on a neighboring block is planned to bring the total to 1,000 rooms in coincidence with an expansion of the adjacent Convention Center. The expansion is expected to cost $174M and be complete by 2024.
Preliminary rendering, not the final design as approval must still be given and design phase is ongoing.
