Yeah, there's no slippery slope here. There will continue to be a wide array of different sizes of hotel product out in the world -- and thankfully for those of us who like room to move, all-suite hotels aren't going anywhere, either.

The paying extra for things that used to be standard is clearly a symptom of later-stage market capitalism -- everything is a revenue stream, and if you're in an industry where the main price tag of the main thing (hotel room, airline ticket, etc) has little room to increase YOY, you gotta find incremental revenue somewhere else (baggage fees, resort fees).
