Thanks for the great update, McMinsen.
I'm certain that extensive engineering analysis and modelling went into the design and structure of the white patio structures, but I just get an anxious feeling in my stomach every time I look at them and think about a major wind storm. I lived in Coal Harbour (a block from this project) when the Typhoon (?) hit Vancouver and did so much damage to Stanley Park. Again, I'm sure that these structures would weather the storm, but I just can't help but recall the wind absolutely howling through our normal glass patio railing, and we were only on the seventh floor.
Never the less, kudos to this project for attempting something so different and pulling it off so well.
