FLINT, MI -- The last remnant of another era along the Flint River is disappearing after the owner of the old Burroughs mill property concluded a vacant storage building was too far gone to save.
Ridgway White, the owner of River City Developments LLC, said demolition of the building, which started Friday, Jan. 10, ended up as the only realistic option for the dilapidated structure on Grand Traverse Street, just south of the river.
