The last time Canada hosted (Victoria, 1994), they ran in the second half of August. The 1930 Empire Games was much the same footprint; August 16-23, 1930.
In any case, council is doing a sprint if they're looking to lock this in by Nov 22. For comparison's sake,
Adelaide dropped its bid for the 2026 Games six months after commissioning a feasibility study.
