I'm going to say that the $550 million US cost (which is what Target Field cost in the late 2000s) will be more of a hangup than the snowfall amount.
Especially since the province has committed to $250m new roof for the Big O already.
Major League Baseball in Montreal faces a big problem with economics. It's the same economics that are killing it in weaker markets in the US. The CAD to USD exchange just adds a 30% handicap.
It's a fun mirage though.
