The saga re: the yacht marina in the harbour had dragged out for ~30 years, pitting brother against brother, dividing families, destroying marriages, etc. Lawsuits, protests, lines drawn in the proverbial sand, conciliations and reconciliations, envisionings and re-envisionings... lather, rinse, repeat.

So here we are in 2019 and the marina is finally finished and open for business. As it turns out it's just a rather ordinary marina. Nice, an improvement to the Songhees scene, but really no big whoop.

Will ever fretful Victorians learn something from this whole thing? I doubt it.
