I still love the concept of full grown trees on the roof - I hope they use all those roof "jutouts" as it's a great way to give space back to nature.
I live nearby, and our bedroom faces John where they regularly drive sirens blaring. You get used to it. Our 80s windows actually do a decent job of stopping the sound too, so with decent windows it wouldn't be too bad.
