Construction of a new Midland campus for Delta College begins

MIDLAND, MI β Construction is underway on a $13 million Delta College satellite campus in Midland that is largely being funded by donors.
The new Delta College Midland Center, 419 E. Ellsworth, will replace the aging satellite location on Wheeler Road.
Almost 200 people attended the groundbreaking on Monday, April 23 in downtown Midland, according to Leanne Govitz, director of marketing for the college.
βIt was a great event,β Govitz said.
The 30,000-square-foot building is scheduled to open in fall of 2020.
