I'm all for stronger campaign finance laws and beefing up ethics and transparency in government, but it's pretty ridiculous to suggest that the these giant incentives and a $500 campaign contribution are somehow related. I don't think the Mayor even knows the names of a lot of the contributors at the $500 level.
