Not sure where to post this, but there is significant activity/construction going on at the new cold air/water plant between the Gables and the railroad tracks along Electric Drive.

I have always hoped that once that thing got built that it might allow the state garage at 3rd and Nueces to change function. I have no info/insight into that other than I wish that is what would happen. Also construction of this cold air station might also preclude the long awaited underpass under the railroad up to 3rd Street.
