Supposedly Hunt Develpment Group is charged with "putting up land for the project and providing a building meeting the County’s performance specifications". I am probably reading between the lines here, but it seems possible that the county is going to try to get this new courthouse without issuing any bonds since a long term lease (99 years?) would get the job done with a whole lot less cost up front. Has Travis County provided more specifics about the financial arrangements regarding this project?

The County decided against another bond referendum this time around since the one for new courthouse Ver 1 failed.
