The PlayLand revitalization was a multi year vision broken down into 3 phases. Phase 1 was supposed to be implemented by summer 2018 and include relocated attractions, additional green space and beautification of existing lands, as seen in the render below.
So far, it does not appear they have even done anything despite getting funding from the city.
