The view from the Tower reminded me of this:

Kappa Sig Fraternity house on 19th St. (MLK) on March 2nd, 1963. This photo in my 1962 UT Cactus shows the frat guys' response to the Army ROTC artillery cannonade on the South Mall saluting Texas Independence Day.

It appears that some adult beverages may have played a role in the fraternity's hijinks.

(the frat house was located adjacent to the east side of the Cambridge Tower and faced north directly up University Avenue towards the Tower. It was a parking lot the last time I drove by there)
